BussiPro in Magazine Personenvervoer's October issue!
Magazine Personenvervoer published an article about us in their October 2023 issue.
Jussi Raunisto (BussiPro):
"We had an excellent trade fair with many top contacts"
What makes Busworld Europe unique is not only the presence of many bus and coach manufacturers, but especially the dozens of supply companies which could be found mainly in halls 7, 8, 9 and 11. Jussi Raunisto, the enthusiastic CEO of Finnish company BussiPro, was extremely satisfied with his third presence at Busworld: "For us, Busworld was a good trade fair. We had a lot of top contacts, even as far away as Australia. There is a great interest in our service."
Raunisto, who previously worked for a Finnish bus company with 1,000 buses and 30 garages, started to work for himself in 2008. His tag-line sums up well his services: 'Reliable spare part quality, from bumper to bumper'.
BussiPro, which offers specialist programmes BusCare, TruckCare and FireCare, started supplying spare parts to bus and coach companies in Finland. Since 2015-2016, the company has been operating across Europe.
“Especially for France and Belgium and for other countries as well, we have hired a new manager, who comes from the glass sector and also speaks French: Manuel Machado.”
The company, which quickly supplies all possible parts, is very active in Italy and Germany.
"In Belgium, we work together with Hansea. Once, we solved them a problem with Scania driver windows. They broke quite easily and we redesigned it ourselves and had them produced. Problem solved. In the Netherlands, we do not yet work with bus companies, but we do work with maintenance companies."
In the BusCare system, BussiPro provides for the fleets a standard set of consigned parts. "We make an overview of their entire fleet and supply parts for their warehouse. In that way, they never miss out on the most common parts and we invoice only when used. It saves them time and money."
Raunisto prides itself on having all the data of spare parts for buses and coaches. and deliver them quickly - often from stock to deliver. "We have agreements with all OEMs and parts manufacturers. And why not turn to bus manufacturers' service centres?
(Laughs) Because we are considerably cheaper. I myself worked for Scania for a while and I know how big the price differences are."
