Manuel Machado joins BussiPro team in Central Europe

BussiPro has a lot to offer for customers in terms of spare parts and know-how. This is a great opportunity for me and the company, says Manuel Machado, the new key account manager for Central European market of BussiPro.

Manuel has worked with busses for many years. His expertise is glasses, which he knows thoroughly and has contacts all over Europe. Now it’s not just glasses but the whole range of BussiPro spare parts for busses from bumper to bumper. Manuel has a background of mechanical engineering so the basement is there.

BussiPro is a familiar company for Manuel since bus glasses has been a vital part of BussiPro range from the first beginning more than fifteen years ago. That was also the starting point for Manuel to join the team when they met in Busworld few years ago. And now has come the time to start.

Especially Manuel paid attention to the fact that BussiPro is not just a dealer for spare parts but it is ready to consult the customer with all their know-how to develope the business. The slogan We Keep Your Wheels Turning is not just a gimmic. Instead it represents the whole vision behind the company. Genuine target is to help the customers to earn more money with their busses. This is what the concepts BusCare and FireCare stand for. And this is something that really inspires me, Manuel says.

The main focus will be in the first place the Benelux-countries where BussiPro already has some customers. But there is a huge potential in other European countries as well, Manuel thinks.

Manuel lives in Portugal near Lisbon with his family which consists of wife and two children aged 12 and 10. Of course family and work takes the most of the day, but especially during weekends he likes to do sport activities. Swimming is his favorite sport. 

The first real action will happen in Busworld 2023. Manuel is looking forward to meet old and new customers together with the other team members from Finland.
